Kripa Nanda Rai
Red Caps in India
Kripa Nanda Rai is a local conservation worker from one of the fringe villages of Manas National Park (Panbari Range). He has passed his 10 + 2 and is a keen conservation worker.
Growing incidences of conflict and gradual forest destruction has put him into thinking the future of mankind and these magnificent elephants as both of them are integral part to each-others survival. This ignited a strong crave in his mind to involve himself to find out and address the root causes of human/elephant conflict at the local community level.
He has a very good relation with the local community, administrators and political leaders which are an added advantage to his conservation career.
