Green cap in Nepal
Roshan was born in the Mahendranagar Municipality. After finishing School education from Siddhanath Science Campus, he went to the Kumaun University in India to study B.Sc. (Forestry) which he completed in 2006. After about 4 years, he again returned back to Nepal and entered to Institute Of Forestry (IOF), Pokhara to study Masters’ course in Watershed Management and accomplished his graduation. As his home lies near the buffer zone area, he observed wildlife activities and noticed reserve conservation activities very well since his childhood. During his study period from School to University, he was involved in eco-clubs, conservation awareness campaigns, excursions and other extra curricular activities.
Dedicated to conservation, as well asto the community and the culture he grew up in, he is now proud to be able to work in his hometown area as a Green Cap.
