Over the past few years, Markus has spent much of his time studying animal behaviour in the wilds of South Africa. Based on his experience in protected wildlife parks, he has a profound understanding of the problems and dangers facing these refuges.

After his doctorate in biology, he continued studying geographic information, analyzing satellite images for conservation projects, mostly for South African public institutions. Markus is our expert in geographical and mapping information. In particular, with data gathered by our Red Caps in the field, he details our maps, localizing exact conflict spots.
