“Save the Rhino International is a UK-registered charity (no. 1035072), which works to conserve viable populations of critically endangered rhinos in Africa and Asia. We recognise that the future of wildlife is inextricably linked to the communities that share its habitat.

Providing funding and technical support to approximately 15 field programmes, our goal is to deliver material, long-lasting and widespread benefits to rhinos and other endangered species, ecosystems and to the people living in these areas.”

“Save the Rhino had not previously supported rhino conservation efforts in Nepal, apart from a grant made with funds from the EAZA Rhino Campaign 2005-6.

However, we were well aware of the importance of Nepal's rhino populations, and were very pleased to be able to partner with Awely, with its long experience of working in Nepal, to help fund the production of a film that aims to reduce human-rhino conflicts.”
