New programmes
Recently, Awely has taken some major steps in the development of its projects. We made a field trip to Tanzania to work on the initial stages  of a new programme focusing on the resolution of Massai/Wildlife conflict,  in collaboration with the People and Predators Fund. Soon after, we launched our new programme in the north of the Democratic Republic of Congo, where our Green Cap Thaulin Efofo is developing several activities with the local communities in order to investigate the bushmeat crisis and improve the situation for bonobos. We are currently in Zambia, in the Mfuwe region, where   we set up a Red Cap project with the South Luangwa Conservation Society. In this region, the conflicts with wildlife are serious and pose a severe threat to both the eople and the animals.
